Snow,
Well needless to say today it
snowed. Kind of mainstream to be writing about this but, I just wanted to get
my homework out of the way; and the white fluffy snow outside my window seemed
like a good enough topic.
When thinking
about snow, many things come to mind….hot chocolate by the fire place, warm
blankets, fuzzy socks, cuddling- many things which involve warmth. I guess its
cause when it snows and the weather changes people remember how much they value
warmth. It is something which walking home today from the city center I missed
terribly.
Although
I am kind of “freaking out” that it is only October and already snowing, I must
say I do enjoy looking out my window to see the grass covered in a soft white
blanket that looks so delicate and fine as it lightly rests on the glass
blades. It is a sight for sore eyes, and considering I didn't wake up in the
best condition this morning- the phrase actually fits lol xp
I do
like looking at the snow falling gently but profusely outside I do not like the
idea which comes to mind- “if it is already snowing now in October, imagine in
December or January which are the months when it’s supposed to be freezing?!?”.
Thus putting a slight frown on my face, but quickly that thought is pushed
aside from my procrastinate nature with the thought “you have time to worry
about that”. I know procrastination is not one of the best qualities but in
this case I did rather enjoy it lol.
Anyways
that was my train of thought while looking out the window at snow; now I’m off
to make myself some tea and start getting ready for “Halloween” (ironic since
its actually next week- but hey college kids take any chance they can get to
drink and dance xp)
